Dalal Al-Abdulrazzak is a Post-Doctoral Fellow working with Dr. Daniel Pauly, Principal Investigator of the Sea Around Us. Her research aims to document and understand the long-term impacts of fisheries on marine ecosystems. She has a BA in Environmental Studies & Conservation Biology from Middlebury College and a PhD in Zoology from the University of British Columbia. In 2007 she received a Watson Fellowship to study shark conservation in Panama, the Bahamas, New Zealand, Fiji, Palau, the Seychelles and South Africa. From 2013-2015 she worked as an Ocean Policy Analyst with the UNDP Water and Oceans Governance Group at the UN Headquarters in New York City. She is originally from Kuwait and currently resides in Vancouver, BC.
